Our Founder/President Mattie C. journey to help the youth and her community began in the early 1990's where she fostered youth from the age of one-years old, to eighteen-years old. She worked with the Department of Human Services to not only provide displaced kids with shelter but with guidance, love and a family. She helped so many youth by giving them direction to navigate through those tough times, with warmth, love and compassion. So much so, that Grammy Award winning group Alabama, along with the Department of Human Services invited her to not only represent those displaced children but to acknowledge the great work she'd done to turn around the lives of so many kids who were in need of a loving and caring home where they could be protected and inspired to grow. This propelled her to invent programs that not only enrich the lives of those children, but to rebuild and repair broken homes with counseling and intervention programs as well.
POP Services is committed to providing transformational experiences for young individuals. Our programs are designed to nurture talents, build confidence, and foster community engagement among youth and their familes. We believe that by cultivating these young minds, we can create a brighter future for all.
